African Gospel Church (AGC) Inner City Circuit was found in 2013 under the leadership of Apostle S and first lady T Mthimkhulu. The church was established to reach the multitudes, heal the people, and build the nations, guided by the book of Mathew 16 verse 18:
“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it”
The church is a home for all souls from all walks of life whose assignment is to:
- Bring and preach abundant life
- Preach a holistic gospel based on the word of God
- To take the complete work of Jesus Christ to all man kind
From year 2013 the church has established 4 branches and it continues to grow. The church strives for excellence in its leadership to inspire spiritual gifts through evangelism and relevance in the present generation.

At AGC Inner City, we are committed to building the nation by reaching out to the multitudes and healing the sick (Mark 16 v 15 – 18, James 5 v 14 - 15). AGC-IC is a people’s church that is a home for all, which dedicated to bringing solutions to the community and giving to those in need.

Our mission directs us to preach a holistic gospel and is based on the word of God. We believe in the personal, visible and eminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thes 4 v 15 – 18, John 14 v 2-3, Mathew 24 v 30-31, Ecl 1 v 11). We are a family that is aimed at making a positive impact on our society through sharing the gospel of Christ.
